Dukes Recognised as One of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development™ 2026

We’re proud to announce that Dukes has officially been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development™ 2026 by Great Place to Work® UK.

After recently being ranked #50 in the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2026 list for Medium Organisations, this latest recognition marks another important milestone for our business and our people.

Dukes has now been ranked #68 nationally in the medium business category, recognising organisations committed to helping employees grow through learning, development and career progression.

Supporting career development at Dukes

At Dukes, investing in our people is a huge part of who we are.

As our business continues to grow across the enforcement and debt recovery services sector, we remain focused on creating opportunities for people to develop professionally and personally, progress within their careers, and build long-term futures with us.

This recognition reflects the culture we continue to build across the business -one where people feel supported, encouraged and empowered to grow.

Since 2025, we have proudly promoted 15 team members across multiple areas of the organisation, reinforcing our commitment to internal progression and professional development.

Whether someone is beginning their career within the enforcement sector or progressing into leadership roles, we are committed to providing the training, support and opportunities needed to help them succeed.

Our Senior Manager - People & Culture, Heather Foster said:

Being recognised as a Best Workplace for Development is incredibly meaningful to us because it reflects the kind of environment we work hard to create every day at Dukes. What makes this recognition special isn’t just the progress we’ve made as a business, but the people behind it. We’re incredibly proud of the way our team continues to learn, support one another and shape what Dukes stands for through their growth and everyday contributions. Development has never been about ticking boxes for us, it’s about creating opportunities, encouraging potential and making sure people feel valued as they grow their careers here. This recognition is a reflection of that shared effort and the culture our people help build every single day.

More than a workplace

Being recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development™ is particularly meaningful because the rankings are based on employee feedback and workplace experience.

Our employee survey results revealed:

  • 100% of employees feel welcomed when they join the company

  • 95% are confident in the company’s future direction and success

  • 95% believe management is honest and ethical in its business practices

  • 95% feel treated as full members of the team, regardless of position

For us, development goes beyond training programmes alone. It is about creating an environment where people feel valued, recognised and supported throughout their careers.

From operational teams and enforcement professionals to support services and leadership functions, every part of the business contributes to the culture that makes Dukes a great place to work.

Looking ahead

As Dukes continues to evolve, supporting career development and creating opportunities for progression will remain a key focus across the business.

We are proud to see our commitment to people recognised nationally and remain focused on continuing to build a workplace culture centred on professional growth and support, as well as long-term success.
