Recognising the culture behind our work

The Best Conduct & Culture category recognises organisations that demonstrate a strong ethical culture and show how this can have a positive impact on customers.

At Dukes, we believe that doing the right thing goes beyond having the right policies and processes in place. It's about how we put those principles into practice, from the way we support one another as colleagues to how we communicate with customers and respond to individual circumstances.

Working in the enforcement industry means recognising that every customer's situation is different. We understand the importance of treating people with respect, communicating clearly and taking a considered approach, particularly when someone may be experiencing vulnerability or financial hardship.

These principles are central to how we operate and reflect our wider commitment to delivering services that balance effective recovery with appropriate customer care.

Putting our people at the heart of what we do

We know that a positive customer experience starts with a positive workplace culture.

Creating an environment where our people feel supported is an important part of maintaining the standards we set ourselves. By encouraging collaboration and investing in our people, we aim to ensure that responsible conduct is reflected throughout the business.

We're proud that the culture our colleagues help create every day is receiving recognition alongside the positive outcomes we work hard to achieve for our customers.

Continuing to raise standards across enforcement

The Collections & Vulnerability Awards celebrate the organisations and individuals working to improve standards across the collections industry, making this shortlisting particularly meaningful to us.

As the expectations around customer care and responsible enforcement continue to evolve, we're committed to continually reviewing how we work and looking for ways to improve the service we provide.

We recognise that building a strong ethical culture is an ongoing commitment. It relies on the decisions our people make every day and a shared understanding of the responsibility we have towards our customers, clients and colleagues.

Being shortlisted for Best Conduct & Culture is a welcome recognition of that commitment and the role our people play in bringing our values to life.

A recognition for the whole Dukes team

We're incredibly proud to be shortlisted for this award. From supporting colleagues behind the scenes to working directly with customers, every role plays a part in shaping our culture and maintaining the standards we strive for.

We'll continue to put people at the heart of what we do, building on the work already underway to support our colleagues, deliver responsible enforcement and achieve positive outcomes for our customers.
