As climate change is continuing to worsen it is becoming more and more apparent of the negative effects that conventional fuel powered vehicles are having on the environment. It is widely known that our Earth is in crisis and this has influenced people to go electric.

In March we began the first phases of making out fleet electric by introducing three new Electric Kia E Niro vehicles to selected agents. The three selected agents had charging points installed at their residential properties / drives, with two additional charging points also installed at our Head Office, in Stone.

As our industry develops and adjusts to the changing world we live in, the need for vans is fast declining and so thus no longer sustainable to keep. Our EA, James, commented

“I am getting on well with the new electric car. It looks good, is easy to drive and very comfortable. I strongly believe this was a very good move by Dukes as it will be a lot more cost effective and a lot better for the environment.”

Watch this space as we continue to invest in more electric vehicles.
