Dukes Reappointed to Deliver Enforcement Services for Staffordshire Moorlands and High Peak Councils

Dukes is delighted to announce our successful reappointment to deliver enforcement services for Staffordshire Moorlands District Council and High Peak Borough Council (SMDC & HPBC).

This contract marks an important new chapter in a partnership that has spanned over 23 years of trusted collaboration, supporting both councils in the fair and ethical recovery of local revenues.

Following a competitive tender process, Dukes will now operate under a formal contract, a significant milestone that reflects the strength of our long-term relationships, the quality of our service, and the trust placed in us as an ethical enforcement provider.

A Strengthened Partnership Built on Performance and Trust

Under the new agreement, Dukes will:

✅ Manage first placement Council Tax and Business Rates cases for Staffordshire Moorlands District Council.

✅ Deliver second placement Council Tax and Business Rates cases for High Peak Borough Council.

✅ Participate in a 12-month benchmarking programme alongside another provider to evaluate collection rates, customer service, and compliance standards.

At the end of this benchmarking period, both councils will review performance to determine the future first-call provider across both local authorities, giving Dukes the opportunity to demonstrate continued leadership in ethical debt collection and responsible enforcement.
