Innovators in Enforcement: Dukes win ‘Innovation Award’ at CIVEA Excellence Awards

At Dukes, a leading Enforcement and Debt Recovery company in the UK, innovation lies at the centre of all our business processes and that’s why, earlier this month, two of our latest innovations were recognised as industry-leading at the CIVEA Enforcement Excellence Awards.

enforcement excellence

As a family-owned business, with no shareholders to answer to, we have the capacity to reinvest our profits to enhance our service offering to clients and advance our digital provision for debtors. This sets us apart from others in the industry.

Over the last few years, we’ve been gathering data around the pain points and expectations that our customers (the debtor) have when liaising with creditors and debt collectors, like Dukes. The data and feedback collated confirmed that accessibility and ease of contact were a huge priority for people in debt. In the 21st century, customers expect to be able to communicate on the go, at a time that suits them. Where these needs are not met, paying a debt or setting up a payment arrangement becomes difficult, especially for vulnerable individuals or those struggling to pay.

In early 2023, we proudly launched an AI-powered Chatbot, named Duke, on our dedicated debtor website. With time, precision, and specific algorithms, we built Duke from the ground up ensuring it can understand language nuances, take payment, and provide around-the-clock (24/7) support.

Setting new standards of modern enforcement

We're thrilled to share that at the recent CIVEA Excellence Awards, we won the 'Innovation in Enforcement' award for Duke, our AI-powered Chatbot. And our former award-winning route scheduling software, Visit Genius, was also recognised and highly commended in the same category!! Both innovations were acknowledged for 'setting new standards' in the enforcement arena, solidifying our commitment to innovation and ethical practices.

In addition to these innovation awards, Dukes was also shortlisted for the 'Women in Enforcement' and 'Outstanding Enforcement Agent' awards. While we didn't secure these titles, being finalists is a fantastic achievement for our colleagues Sarah Naylor and Des Hjerling.
