Dukes are professional certificated bailiffs and take seriously their responsibility both to their profession and the wider community. As such they are active members of a number of professional bodies.

ACEA is an independent association formed to promote higher standards in the civil enforcement industry. ACEA exists to bring the benefits of experience and knowledge across a broad spectrum of professional enforcement agencies in England and Wales. Members are required to comply with the ACEA’s Code of Practice and to act in a professional manner, both as businesses and in the delivery of services.

ESA was formed in 1906 as the Certificated Bailiffs Association to provide a central organisation for certificated bailiffs and civil law enforcement agents and to promote ethical and professional conduct among members.

The CSA is the only national association in the UK for companies active in relation to unpaid credit accounts; debt recovery agencies, tracing and allied professional services and has a history dating back to 1902. Members adhere to a strict Code of Practice, which is now the benchmark for best practice in the industry, assuring quality and professionalism in the services members provide. The association requires members to conduct business lawfully, conduct dealings with debtors in a fair and reasonable manner and maintain a high standard of business practice.
